Ruairi McGoldrick is an Irish illustrator and designer, Currently based in Liverpool, and his artistic passion is Greek mythology, the male body and fantasy stories.
Drawing inspiration from mythology and folklore as well as the male body and gay media, Ruairi's work often depicts figures and ideas that he is drawn to, which he then reimagines in his own way.
Ruairi alternates between two primary styles; fine-line, hand drawn pen and ink illustrations, and bold, colourful digital art. In both styles he showcases a use of strong line work to create tone and texture. he loves working in a black and white format when hand drawing. when it comes to his digital illustrations, he loves to explore colour in his work.
